FREIENDS AND BETRAYALS

 Recently i was watching an episode of the TV talk show MOMENTS WITH MO. she had on her show a couple of female celebs. she had onyeka onwenu, she had ifeoma and two other female celebrities. i am so sorry i do not remember their names.it was a real girls talk. They were talking about friendships. they talked about how well we knew our friends, how loyal we are to our friends, if we had unspoken rivalry or jealousy in our friendships and if we could keep our friends secret.
a number of people cannot even keep their own secrets so please dont expect anyone to keep yours.
I know a number of us sincerely have had our fair share of bad friendships. But how have we handled such situations. some people have had enough that they do not even want to make friends anymore. but no one is an island. we need healthy relationships to survive, we need companions to keep going. the part that amuses me the most is this, one day i was at the saloon trying to get my hair done and there was this lady who was shamelessly saying that she keeps different friends for different purposes. she has friends for occassions, i mean like parties and also ones she kept for financial purposes or gains and she went on and on about the different kinds of friends she made. funny right? the list was endless.
People go through this things everyday, they get used by friends and eventually betrayed. take heart friend cos you are not in this alone. you are not the first neither will you be the last going through bad friendships.
