NIGERIAN NANNY SENTENCED TO 80 YEARS JAIL TERM IN THE US

A 24 year old Nigerian nanny has been sentenced to 80 years incarceration over the death of one of the children that was kept in her custody. The Nigerian nanny in the US left the kids at her place and rushed off to get some groceries forgetting she left a pot on the fire and so the house was consumed with fire and the innocent children lost their life's.
Appeals for leniency failed to move the Texas judge who gave the harsh verdict of 80 years behind bars.
Eight witnesseses testified for tata in the punishment phase of trial on friday. Twenty two witnesses testified for the prosecution, alleging that she ran an unclean facility where dirty diapers and vomit were strewn on the floor. The deceased child, 16 month old Elias Castillo, succombed to a fire ignited when tata went shopping and left a pot of oil cooking on the stove.
